Cold Day

Dear Wednesday Sophomores!

Hope you are all staying very warm on this brutally cold day! Due to the fact that Greenhouse is not meeting today, my hope is that you will use the time not spent in class to work on developing your Roman comedy scripts. If you have completed your plotting, use today to start shaping your individual scenes, if you have already gotten to that point, start working on getting your dialogue into shape. Lastly, one of the hardest parts of writing a good Roman comedy is creating a strong subplot. Even if you have completed the subplot, perhaps spend today developing ways to better integrate or link it to the primary narrative of your play.  Always rely on good examples from plays, films, or television programs to shape your subplot narrative!

Best wishes on your writing, and stay warm!

Kind Regards,
Dr. Parker
